I am a recently graduated Industrial Designer who studied at Emily Carr University of Art & Design minoring in Social Practice and Community Engagement. I currently work at a company called tentree. Tentree is a sustainable apparel company and working there allows me to continue to develop my skill all while serving a greater purpose.
My practice is inspired by the natural world. I think that it is important to design for prolonged use, especially with the environment in mind. It is my goal as an industrial designer to help reverse the negative environmental effects of previous industrial designers. I want to design for change.
Though I am an industrial designer, I have illustrated and designed two published children's' books, and one novel. I am also currently working on writing and illustrating my own comic book.
As a hobby I paint and make endless variations of mugs out of many different clays. My artwork has been featured in the West Vancouver Memorial Library and my Plant Project will be featured at the Museum of Vancouver November 3rd.
